Join us at the Noble Centre on Friday 2nd December between 12.30pm and 5.00pm to celebrate Carers' Rights Day. The day will primarily focus on issues surrounding money. There will also be the opportunity to undergo a free NHS health and cholesterol check.
The event aims to ensure the income of carers and the people they care for is maximised. There will be information for carers about employment, benefits and allowances, grants for home improvements, advice about making the most of your money and energy savings and a range of resources that are available in the community.
This year we are lucky enough to have Health Checks for Carers taking place and the Citizens Advice Bureau plan to give a short talk about managing and dealing with debts.
