Kingston Carers’ Network is a thriving carers’ charity providing a wide range of services to around 3,500 adult and 650 young carers in the Royal Borough of Kingston.

We are passionate about the work we do to improve the lives of carers across the borough of Kingston upon Thames. We are seeking like-minded people to join our Young Carers Project and help us to achieve our goals:

Targeted Support Coordinator £20,221 for 24 hours per week (funded to May 2020)

The role will involve delivering targeted support to young carers and their families to reduce the risk of excessive, inappropriateor harmful caring. (See Job description)

 

Mentoring Coordinator (Maternity cover to May 2019) £10,810 for 14 hours per week

To be responsible for mentor recruitment, training and ongoing support of volunteer mentors who will be providing emotional support and guidance to young carers.

Sessional Workers 3-5 hours (to be worked at after school/evening drop-ins)

£12 per hour

To work alongside young carers support workers to deliver a range of activities for young carers. (See Job description)
