This month we shall be visiting the fantastic Chiltern Open Air Museum.  The Chiltern Open Air Museum is a 45 acre museum in Chalfont St Giles set within the beautiful Chilterns countryside. The Museum is home to over 30 rescued historic buildings including a 1940s Prefab, Victorian Toll House, Blacksmith’s Forge, Iron Age roundhouse and working historic farm.

The Museum is a popular venue for filming and has been used for Downton Abbey, Call the Midwife, Horrible Histories, Midsummer Murders, The Suspicions of Mr Whicher, Boomers, Grantchester, Drunk Histories and many more.  If you enjoyed the Rural Life Centre last year, you will definitely enjoy this trip!
