Additional funding available for low-income households

The Department of Work and Pensions have made additional funding available for low-income households in Kingston who meet the criteria and who are struggling to afford food, fuel, utility bills and other essentials.

The Household Support Fund (HSF) may be used to support residents experiencing financial hardship that is detrimental to their health and wellbeing. Examples of support include access to food, fuel, winter essentials, utility bills, boiler or white goods repairs and, in exceptional circumstances, support with housing costs. Households can be supported up to a maximum of £300.

If your household has received help through either of the previous rounds of the Household Support Fund, we will not be able to issue any further funding.

Come along to one of our Household Support Fund drop-in sessions at a local library (locations and times below) and we can support you with your application.
