Our Kingston Young Carers Project has been pleased to partner with the Young Carers Illustrations Project to help make pictures to improve recognition and support for our youngest young carers. This includes a storybook about fictional young carer bunnies from the imagination of highly talented artist and illustrator Ana Graça. This has been followed by a second picture book based on an adventure in outer space.

Primary school-aged young carers from Kingston have helped Ana with lots of ideas for pictures and two beautiful picture story books. These provide fun ways of explaining who young carers are and discussing their needs and feelings with them.    

You can order free copies of Ana‘s picture books, “Young Carers in Bunnyland” and “Young Carers in Space”. These can come together with a special activities booklet called “About Me”. Copies of these can be supplied for free on request, along with special sticker sheets by emailing the Young Carers Illustration Project at: jbangsuk@icloud.com
