After the past two years of the Covid-19 pandemic we are unfortunately all more aware of loss and bereavement, and the need for support after someone close to us dies. Kingston Carers’ Network is keen to help people get the best bereavement support, tailored to their specific needs. We have been asked by Kingston Voluntary Action and Healthwatch Kingston to assist them as they collaborate on a pilot project to gather qualitative feedback on local experiences of bereavement services in Kingston.
As part of this work, we will be holding two sessions.
In Person Layla (Wellbeing Co-ordinator) will be leading an in person focus group to talk about the experience of bereavement and its impact on you. This group is not just for people who are recently bereaved, we would like to hear from all carers, wherever you are in your journey through loss.
