Dont miss "Dream Big" Year 2 of the YCP Party Conference - 2nd November 2024
Join us at Chessington World of Adventures for an amazing day of fun and find out how you can support the conference!
“Dream Big” is the theme of our exciting, free Second Annual YCP Party Conference!
This very special event is for registered Young Carers aged 5-25 living in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames. Join us on Saturday, November 2nd, 2023, from 10 am to 2 pm at Chessington World of Adventures. The day includes free lunch and refreshments!
We are extremely grateful to Chessington World of Adventures for their support in bringing a bit of magic to the lives of Young Carers and enabling us to "Dream Big" together building on the incredible success of last year's event!
After last year’s hugely successful YCP Party Conference, we’re excited to promise even more fun this year! Whether you joined us last time or are coming for the first time, here’s a glimpse of what to expect:
• Talented young carers showcasing their amazing performances on stage
• Personal stories from young carers sharing their unique experiences
• Inspirational guest speakers
• Loads of fun, including a photobooth, magician, glitter tattoos, prizes, animals, and even a visit from the Gruffalo!
The day wraps up with a free buffet lunch and free entry to Chessington World of Adventures, where you can enjoy rides and visit the zoo. The park stays open until 7pm for the final weekend of the award-winning ‘Howl’O’ween’ event!
This year, we’re thrilled to launch the first-ever picture storybook created specifically for younger young carers. Author Ana Graça will be giving away free copies from a special bunny-themed stall, along with badges, stickers, and sweets! Some of our youngest carers even helped Ana with ideas for the story and picked the name for the book and its main character.
But wait there is more...
Dont miss your chance to win one of three amazing prizes by sharing your creativity with us!
We’re also reserving space for up to 50 key individuals who may not yet know about the Young Carers Project but might be interested in supporting or sponsoring it.
If you are aware of anyone who might be able to help us carry on our important work we would sincerely appreciate your support.
We have a number of sponsorship opportunities available and all support is deeply appreciated.
Spaces are limited, so be sure to book early! RSVP to YCPCONFERENCE@kingstoncarers.org.uk
